About this event
The Florida Legislature is considering eliminating or greatly
reducing homestead property taxes. Hosted by Barbara Ford-
Coates, this program 1) explains how Sarasota County and its cities
use the homestead property taxes they receive annually, 2) the
impact of the proposed revenue reduction and 3) exploration of the
alternative revenue streams to address the deficits.
