Unite and Rise 8.5 Rally

Let's Unite and Rise!

The League of Women Voters is uniquely positioned to respond to our constitutional crisis. On the local level, the Sarasota Chapter is mobilizing our members in support of the Constitution, and the rule of law.

In defense of our democracy, let's speak out against:
Partisan redistricting
Unconstitutional overreach by the executive branch.
Our elected representatives' failure to uphold their oath of office.
Legislative efforts to disenfranchise millions of eligible voters.

At this rally the League will supply signs for attendees, and we encourage everyone to wear their League t-shirts. We have ordered additional t-shirts for women and men. T-shirts will be available on site for a $20 donation.
