The League of Women Voters of Manatee County Health Care Action Team is celebrating with an in-person program featuring speakers, refreshments, prizes, and a great opportunity to socialize!

• Brain Health Initiative (BHI)
  Discover the opportunities and barriers of integrating the science and application of lifestyle as medicine at the individual, family, and community level, for all ages.  BHI is bridging the gap between life span and brain span while increasing performance for all ages.

• Mental Health First Aid 
  Realize the ways a focus on mental health prevention and building resilience will enable individuals and our government to spend far less on costly interventions and will better enable us to meet the needs of the community. Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use issues.
