Adam Tebrugge Speaks on Homelessness in Sarasota

Adam Tebrugge spoke at the League’s Food for Thought breakfast yesterday, and provided a thorough background on recent efforts to address homelessness in Sarasota County.  He pointed out that there are more than 1,000 homeless children in Sarasota County, and a sharp increase in the number of homeless mothers with children.  He strongly supports the establishment  of a one-stop center where citizens could find assistance for the multiple dimensions of homelessness, and pointed to the success of the Bill Gavano One Stop Center in Bradenton as a model.
